how normal is it?

I was standing up for a bout 15 mins I got really hot and sweaty felt like I was gonna throw up and pass out. It really scared because I wasn't home I drove home quick and felt I was going to black out any moment (I only drove 1 block) I rush in my house and didn't get sick but I'm so light headed still. I called my doc she said it was normal and if I pass out its normal to just to drink water that's all I drink and to call if it happens again :/ does this happen to anyone else I'm scared it will happen when I drive or something

First off, if you ever feel like that again do not drive! Its so dangerous, even just a block.... Second the feelings of being hot and nauseated is usually what people feel right before they pass out. Try having some Gatorade or something that has electrolytes in it. You need more than just water to stay hydrated. Also lay down and put your feet up for a bit.

Happened to me at work as well. You are probably dehydrated. Force the water down girl as much as you can.
