Name Poll

My hubby and I are pretty set on Kaitlyn/Kaitlin but we can't decide how to spell it.  Which do you guys like?

Thanks everyone!  I think we like the Y... but I wanted some other opinions    :-)

To be honest, I never understood why it matters one way to spell it over another since you pronounce it the same way.  I think that if you really like the name, just spell it in the traditional way, to avoid confusion and headaches for your unborn child.  If you want to get creative then pick an unusual name.

I like the y...and I do see both sides of the personalization thing but I wouldn't let it sway your choice, like Joy said, you can always go to special places like things remembered or personalization mall (online) and purchase those special momentos.

I'm all for the "y" spelling! It's more feminine to me. There are ways to get things personalized that no one else would have either.

I think with the Y is cuter, but here's something to consider..... My name is Meagan and as a child I was terribly disappointed when I would go into a store that had personalized key chains, mugs or other items that I could never find my name spelled with the "a". It was always spelled Megan. I am not saying you should base your decision on this but it may be something to keep in mind.
