Hey guys. Im super new at this. I took my first home pregnancy test only a few days ago. When should I go see the gp?
Different places have different policies. Call and ask when your first appointment should be made. My midwives, when I called them at 5 weeks, told me they'd see me at 11 weeks - no need for a visit sooner and no "confirmation of pregnancy" - a positive hpt was enough for them. Some places start giving ultrasounds and blood and urine tests at 5 or 6 weeks.
Google doctors in your area and look up ratings then call and make an appointment the sooner you call the better so you can start experiencing all the fun stuff. Congrats!!
