Ask ur Dr for zofran.. Plus saltine crackers, and lemons may help and maybe orange juice? That's what helps me

hey,
it does say dizziness on my info sheet, with a mess of other symptoms too. the doc said take it whenever but the pharmacist said to take it before bed cause it can cause dizziness and make you tired.
thank you for your kind words, you are very sweet.
hopefully you find something that helps you keep food down.
best of luck!

thanks for all of your comments going to try everything! its just so horrible that im so hungry all the time and when i manage to get anything down at all it feels like i just put something in my stomach so that i can throw up again, also finding anything that doesn't send me running to the toilet is so hard, even toast makes me gag! and louieforlaughs i'm so sorry for your losses its so hard to go trough a m/c especially more than once, so happy that your pregnant again though, hope you have a helthy pregnancy too. Whenever i take the progesterone, i have to take it in one 400mg dose and about an hour after i take it i feel so dizzy and woozy even if i'm lying down i still feel dizzy and this does not help with the nausea at all, i cant move for about 2 to 3 hours after i take it, i texted a nurse who was helping me trough the m/c's and she said it would have that affect but i've never heard of anybody getting that effect, and it doesnt say thats a side affect on the packet either.

hey there,
i can appreciate your situation completely. i have also had two miscarriages and am pregnant again for the fourth time. and i too am on progesterone. my dose is oral and a quarter the mg as yours. the first three weeks on it was horrible!! i can't imagine what it would be like four times the dose! i asked my doctor and he said i could skip a day if i felt i needed a break. we decided to just tough it out. but perhaps you could discuss this with your doctor and see what he or she says? i also discovered that milk made my morning sickness worse! i figure since my hormones are out of balance this is probably the cause. what i did was went on an attack of my morning sickness. we got nausea wrist bands and tried pregnancy pops (didn't work for me) crackers, water and peppermints. i find the peppermints and staying hydrated work best for me. oh, i also did lemon water and that was alright too but not as great as the mints. it took me three days until i could a full meal again but i slowly got there. personally the morning sickness being a good thing isn't true for me. this is my fourth pregnancy and i had morning sickness with all of them and still had two losses. my issue also with this is that we are on hormones that can cause these symptoms to occur on their own. so mentally, for me, this doesn't mean its a sure thing. but i do hope, you must have hope that the progesterone will do its job and help support the pregnancy. you should be done with the progesterone once your done the first trimester so that is hope too. i only have three more weeks, i can't wait!!! how far along are you now? and have you had any other symptoms for the progesterone? i had some muscle cramps and having major memory loss. its amazing i still know my own name some days!
hmm i think if i were you i would talk to my doctor. perhaps a lower dose, if that is possible for your situation, or different intake method would be better for you? perhaps even some pills to help with the morning sickness? just some ideas. i know its hard and you feel really awful right now but lets hope for a smooth second trimester in preparation for your last trimester. it is worth it, i know its difficult but it is worth it.
congratulations on your pregnancy and i hope its a happy healthy one!

That's great! Sorry lol, but morning sickness is a sign of strong hormones and a healthy pregnancy! I know it's tough, I had bad ms with all three of mine, just hang in there it will go away. And in the mean time think of the precious baby growing inside you every time you have your head in a bucket!
