i used castor oil and all it did was give me the poo. come to find out it can be very toxic to the baby so i really dont suggest that. walking alot, i ran as fast as i really cold hehe just to try for jump starting my labor and i felt contractions but it was not that hard to do anything but i did have them. was having contractions at 37 weeks and that was because i got into a hot tub and i stayed in there for like 10-15 minutes because my mom said it was okay for me to be in there but im not sure if it was okay. so 1 day later i went into active labor after doing all that and being on my birthing ball. and doing all different types of dancing at the house like jumping up and down and just being really active alot helped=) getting myself into labor.

By this time with my first I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea and using evening primrose oil. The oil with start to soften/ripen your cervix. It's not going to jumpstart anything but it will most definitely help you out. I swear by both of them.
I ended up having a complete drug free labour with my first and am convinced these both helped me a lot! Good luck...don't try and get too antsy! There is an end and it will happen when baby is completely ready. You don't want to be induced!!
