Need advice on what I should take to the hospital!

Okay, so I have my hospital bag packed, but I just checked the weather for next week. I am being induced Monday morning, very early. So I am hoping to have him Monday, but Tuesday at the latest. Tuesdays forecast is going to be in the 70's with 20-30 mph winds and Wednesday is going to be in the high 50's with 20-30 mph winds.

I have the cozy cover packed on our carseat to block the wind, and I have a layered outfit for my son to come home in. I am thinking about packing a big fuzzy blanket as well, but do you mama's think I should pack his snowsuit also!? Granted, I know we are only going to be outside walking from the ER to the car, but idk if I should take it or not!

Any advice?

Oh youre perfectly fine. I think we should be okay with the cover and a blanket. We don't have family around so I was nervous as to having someone run to our house to get something. I think I'm just last minute freaking out lol

I have 5 Kids.. to use a snow suit it needs to be like 30 degrees or less. They need to be used if it is thirties and you will plan to be out for an extended time or if it is extremely cold.. I was very worried with my first and second babies but I found that babies are extremely easy to over heat. If you have a cover over the car seat then that will cancel the wind factor. By the way I was not trying to be rude before I was kinda in a hurry so I did not go into detail and that was what came out. If you are really nervous just take it and see what it feels like the day you bring him home. Its better to have too much then not enough...

Haha I just know his snow suit is really warm. It can get very cold here. But I appreciate the advice! Thank you!

No snow suit. Baby don't need anymore clothes than you. Are you going to wear a snow suit? In the 50's with a long sleeve outfit and blanket he will be plenty warm.. but at least you are putting a lot of thought into it...

Were in Rapid City, SD right on the jet stream so weather changes pretty drastically, it was 90 yesterday and the high was only 60 today and we had like 50 mph winds! Its crazy!

What city are you in? I don't think a snow suit would be needed, the clothing and blankets should do the job.
