Need advice
I am 31 weeks tomorrow with baby number 3 I have been having braxton hicks since 16 weeks well this pain i feel now is different I am feeling like a lightning pain in my uterus never felt this before i also have a kidney infection been on meds for that not sure if the pain is related but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what this might be thank u for your response in advance
I also have mild hydronephrosis as well n thats the kidney thats infected as well n I also have 9 weeks to go I hope nothing else happens he also has hydronephrosis of the right kidney just like me i need him in as long as he can stay n hope his reverses its self
Silly question but why would a kidney infection start labour??? Im confused lol xxxx
Wow! I was told it was a boy thing causing kidney infections! Maybe it is! Hope I dont get one this time...9wks left to get through, fingers crossed!

It probably is related. I had a kidney infection with my 1st and was warned that it may set off labour (it didnt) so they must see kidney infections sparking off contractions. just keep an eye on it and get yourself checked or some medical advice any time you arent happy with how you feel. Out of interest, are you having a boy?
This is baby number 3 and i am high risk without the infection i am waiting for the doctor to call me back its kinda crazy i had a dream that i had the baby today which i just turned 31 weeks it was scary this pregnancy is alot harder cause of all the health issues that have come up with me n him n since the infection started i have started having contractions every 10 mins after 2 days its slowed down now its a few a day n this pain feels like i am getting shocked its kinda werid i cant explain it any better
Im not sure what ur quite feeling. Does ur dr consider u high risk with the kidney infection? Your baby could be settling into position. Is this ur first? Its common for first time moms to experience that early. As long as ur not having regular contractions ur fine. Call ur ob if u get concerned.
