negative result but am i pregnant

i am 3 weeks over my period an have 2 negative test results. i have lots of symptoms of pregnancy, im worried what might be causing this?

Thank you all so much, its good to no im not alone, as it has never happened before i just didnt no what to expect. i went to the doctors monday, she did and internal examination as advised my uterus was tender, she took a swab and urine sample to send to hospital to check for infection and preg. and has requested a scan asap to have a look whats happening. she couldnt rule out preg however i no im not. sunday i woke up in alot of pain and had a little blood loss, she said it may have been a cyst that has held back period and popped! i will let you n what happens with scan. thanks again.

same here chick, im 11 days late as of today and it is doing my absolute nut in!! ive had sex regularly with y boyfriend over the last 2 months without protection and have done four HPT and one dr PT  all BFN!! feeling tired, more hungry, regular toilet visits, slight fatigue and quite emotional. no real period pains, just a weird, gurgley sensation in my lower abdomen a few days ago but nothing came of it! i want a blood test but i am scared it will also say negative as i have pretty much got my hopes up :( usually regular periods and i am not stressed what so ever. i should have ovulated 12th Sept and that week i stayed over at my bf house all week so yeah..you know..a lot of it lol. xxx

One time, I didn't test positive until I was almost 7 weeks pregnant, I was so pissed...some people don't test positive when it is early.

A scan at this stage wont show anything.I agree with going to the doctor,and asking for a hcg blood test,this will confirm if you have pregnancy hormones,this test is more accurate than home pregnancy tests.its possible you ovulated later,hence making period delayed.

hi ya, i  was exactly the same back in march i was 4 weeks late, feelin tired, sick i went and had bloodd test done which also showed negative result!!i i finally had  a period after6weeks! i had 2 go 4 scans which showed polycystic overies and this is what was causing all my problems, go  ur GP and rquest a scan, u may be pregnant but there are other things which can cause this, good luck x x
