Need help

My dauqther is only 2 weeks old & has a little cough & stuffy nose to the max she cant breath well. Im breastfeeding her and everytime i feed her she throws it up a few minutes later. Is there anything that i can do to make her feel a little better? She gets plenty of rest & i keep her cozy. It just worries me that the little bit of milk shes taking in isnt staying down

It should clear itself up but the throw up is probably just spit up which you will get used to cuz it goes on for quite some time lol.

Breastmilk is the best for them especially when sick. I would put a little breastmilk in each nostril and then use a nose frida to suction out the nose. You can also keep baby upright for 30 min after feelings to help keep milk in ;). Good job breastfeeding. You are giving your baby the absolute best start in life!!  If you are concerned babe is not getting enough you can go to your local Le Leche league meeting and they can weigh babe before and after feeding then after the puke and see how much she took in and how much came back up.

had the same problem with my son who used to projectile vomit really bad there was nothin wrong with him but i was concerned he wasn't gettin enough to eat after constantly vomiting so i switched to enfamil 0-12 the one with a mile cereal in it cause it was heavier an he didn't use to bring it back up. for the stuffy noise saline drops.
