HELLO! Jus fount out im 6 weeks pregnant! First baby! First time ever being pregnant. I have irregular periods and thought I had fertility issues, but to my suprise I am pregnant at age 20! Does anyone know if women with irregular periods have a higher risk of miscarriage? How can I assure I have a healthy pregnancy. I am over weight but will no heath issues like high blood pressure or diabetes etc. But can being over weight cause miscarriage?

We are the same age.I had irregular periods before I got pregnant and I'm now 22wks 1day.there are over weight women who have fine pregnancies but if you're worried you can find some sort of health plan or talk to your doctor

Being over weight doesn't cause miscarriage nor does a  irregular period. But to avoid  personal health issues you can get a diet change and safe exercise routine if u feel you need to because you WILL  gain baby weight! I'm sure your lovely tho :) but stay healthy & congrats to you .
