Question!!

so when does your baby's head normally drop?
Today my son had the hiccups but I felt them near my bladder not my lower belly.
Later in the day he had them again but I felt them in my lower back close to my butt?

Lol write one if you want, if for no other reason than to learn some of the more obscure procedures during birth like an episiotomy or wth the vbac is, etc. And ask your Dr questions like of your specific hospital would let you do a walking epidural (though most don't) or offer water births (if you're interested)

Lol it's so weird you say that from the beginning my mom was like oh you're carrying low it's a boy, and I always said okayyyy doctor Phil and sure enough she was right! I never realized it till now on why she said or did the things she did but know I understand ahahaha I actually want to write out a birth plan! But I feel like my bf will look at me like I'm crazy he always tells me you're on webmd too much ahahaha!

I think everyone worries like that, and I'm not actually sure anyone is ever technically ready lol. I had my bags packed since I was 30 weeks, in the couple weeks prior I cleaned my house until it was spotless and stocked my pantry, made sure the nursery was well organized and did all my research on labor. Even wrote out a birth plan that no one saw but my boyfriend and I lol. You might not feel ready, but you probably will be. And as far as crazy mothers go, don't be too surprised, my mom swore to the ends of the earth that I was going to have a girl when I was nearly positive it was a boy, but she ended up with her wish lol

Aww thank you thank you :) well from experience of being an only girl with three brothers we are known to be pretty stubborn ;) lol I just feel like nervous because my mom has it in her head that he will come early, around my birthday which is July 30th and I'm due the 5th but then again she's crazy sometimes but I just wish there was an actual count down clock on my tummy ahahah! I'm so nervous that I won't be as prepared! Or every random ache I get I feel like oh god is this a contraction! Or that I will stand up at any moment and boom my water breaks! I guess it's the mother in me that's worries but thank you again it's really appreciated :)

No totally okay, I had tons of questions lol! And no it doesn't mean you'll go early unfortunately, my doctor kept saying I was due any day when she saw I was 37 weeks and that dilated. But I walked and bounced, ate pineapples and had sex, even had my membrane swept and my daughter still didn't come until 40weeks 5 days. That's not to say its not possible for you to go early, you absolutely could, my daughter was just stubborn. She came the day before my induction date and I still felt like I wasnt ready or expecting it. You kind of just keep going through the days, hoping you'll go, but never really thinking about ACTUALLY going into labor lol, at least that's how I was

Oh yes waddling is my new cat walk lol! My bf constantly makes fun of me! I haven't next appointment July 1st so I'm going to ask him if it's possible to check! But say if he does and I'm about 1 cm that doesn't nessarily mean he'll come sooner or could it be possible? I'm pretty terrified of him coming when I least expect it but I guess you never really expect it unless you're past your due date! Ahh sorry obviously a first time mom with so many questions and crazy thoughts! Thank you for the feedback btw :)

Yeah that's a pretty good sign that things are progressing down there. I felt a lot of pressure in my vaginal canal when she started to drop, it was because I was slowly dilating and effacing. You'll probably start to waddle soon if you haven't already lol, its hard walking when you feel like a baby is going to fall out of you at any second (which they won't dont worry lol). And you'll start to think that your baby couldn't possibly drop anymore, and then the next week you feel EVEN lower and honestly you're scared to pee or squat. Youve still got a bit to go, but you totally could've started to drop. Your Dr probably won't check you for dilation for a couple more weeks (but maybe you could ask) but you might start to dilate a bit soon too (I was 3 1/2 or so cm dilated by the time I was 37 weeks)
