Never had 1 day periods and no cramps

I havent had a real period in a while......Im not sure if its because of my last D&C surgery or my lap surgery both done in between Sept and Nov.........  The last two months I have had a 1 day period....everyone tells me that it isnt a period ....I may change tampon maybe 5 times one day and that is it and normally its maybe just at the tip and never near the string............. Ive always had 4 to 6 day periods but now I have 1 day periods ....and I never cramp at all.........................Anyone is similar?  Everyone says take a test but I have no signs at all.  Please give me something........Im tired of going to the DR........I dont think its pregnancy because weve tried since forever and that I dont have any symptoms...........or none that are noticable....

Thanks...Before my surgery I had 3-4day heavy periods with severe cramps....Since my surgery I have had about 3 day periods and in April I had about a 2day period and then in May I had a 1 day period.......with spotting........I guess I am just scared to admitt that I just may be preggo this go round although I have no other symptoms.......Although I really want to be preggo I just hate to take a test and it proves me wrong!!!!!!!!

My periods used to be at least 4-5 days long, now in lucky if they are day and a half.according to my fertility specialist this is nothing to worry about.it could be due to the surgery,If your concerned in anyway, then definitely talk to your doctor that's what they are there for.all the best.

Major procedures to your body, especially a D&C will create an abnormal period. You MAY be having a one day period, some women don't have periods at all, some women have 2-3 day periods, which isn't considered "normal" but it IS a period. One day bleeding every month isn't a sign of pregnancy. And if you're having an abnormal period, your cycles aren't regulated, so it's pretty unlikely you're pregnant, it's hit or miss if you're trying to get pregnant with an unregulated cycle. I would talk to your OB and ask them about your period, and TTC. They might give you a better insight to why you're not having a normal period. If you really think you're pregnant you can test, and if it's negative test again in a few weeks and if it's still negative, I'd go with that as your answer. Good luck!
