My daughter is 10 days old & her skin is so dry and peeling ! It looks painful! Should I not put lotion on her?? I remember hearing not to but it looks so bad

After bath cover her whole body in Vaseline. I did it with my son and it helped out alot. My sister told me to do it and I trust her since she is a pediatrician.

New babies peel, that's completely normal...if they are scratching at themselves and seem uncomfortable you could put something on to soothe them but if she doesn't act like she's uncomfortable I'd just leave it be.
