Night duty & pregnant

I've just got the news from Dr that im pregnant and im currently finishing off the last nights of Night Duty. I'm a support worker in a learning disability  supported living accommodation. We have some mild cleaning tasks and the majority of the night is just performong checks. I think the only way we can get off night duty is you're pregnant WITH health issues.
Is their any issues with working night duty?

All my dr told me was at first not to lift over 20 lbs and it went down as I got to my 3rd trimester because I realized it was hard to lift anything heavy. They have to accommodate you if you have a drs note, but working overnight shouldn't be an issue. If your cleaning and using strong chemicals, as long as you have lots of ventilation, you are fine too, just make sure with the dr too.

You will be fine unless your doctor tells you otherwise:). I work in a restaurant/bar on my feet running around lifting cases of beer and buckets of ice ect. no problems and I'm 32weeks :)

We do 7 nights over 2wks (4,3) every 5/6wks. Was just curious as it's our first and I guess I'm being cautious.

Doesn't sound like it based on what you've described.
