All my dr told me was at first not to lift over 20 lbs and it went down as I got to my 3rd trimester because I realized it was hard to lift anything heavy. They have to accommodate you if you have a drs note, but working overnight shouldn't be an issue. If your cleaning and using strong chemicals, as long as you have lots of ventilation, you are fine too, just make sure with the dr too.
Im ftm 31 weeks and work at casino on grave yard.I atleast try get sleep before I go in. All really do is stand.
I dont work night duty but i work 7 days a weeks 8-12 hours a day. I lift things dirt, boxes, etc. My baby is healthy so far and doctors havent told me to stop working as long as it isnt putting stress on you and the baby contuie on with your job
You will be fine unless your doctor tells you otherwise:). I work in a restaurant/bar on my feet running around lifting cases of beer and buckets of ice ect. no problems and I'm 32weeks :)
We do 7 nights over 2wks (4,3) every 5/6wks. Was just curious as it's our first and I guess I'm being cautious.
Doesn't sound like it based on what you've described.
