Thank u guys. I am still unsure what to do. I did talk with my husband and he said he will not let them bother me. He said he will help me with whatever I need...
I would just put my foot down. I was told by my bfs mothef that they would all be there and be in the room as soon as they could to hold my baby and pass her around. I finally got tired of it and said no I believe that is the most important time for the family to bond. Baby needs that time to learn mommy and daddy before anyone else and if they wanted to make a big deal of it fine but i would see to it I had my way.
My son was gonna be the first grandchild my mom would be able to see and well she ruined that the first week my son was born! Hopefully your first week will go better than mine did! This time I'm set on only having my husband in delivery room and only my husband , our son bentley and me at home with the baby for the first week or two!
I know! I agree, but how do I say no?
They already are planning and his aunt is the GM for one of the top restaurant in San Antonio so its hard for her to get vacation time they are all excited to come its my mother in law first grandchild she is so excited cuz I told her in Hawaii we weren't having babies and after I got pregnant she came out and said before she died she wanted only two things and its for her to have a grandbaby and for us to own our home. To her having this baby is huge because my husband is an only child and now his last name will carry on. Im just so scared this is gonna be so awkward. But I am the type to open my mouth if they come and are rude or doing things I dont like I will blow up and say something. I guess I'll talk to my husband and make it clear to him that he will need to set some boundaries and help me out
I wouldn't do it! Me and my mom haven't talked since my 2 yearold was born because she tried to control everything and I flipped out and left! That's a precious time for mother and baby and as well for the family bond with dad an it's just not the time for anyone else to e around!
