threaten abortion / threaten misscarriage ??

So yesterday I started bleeding. Not a lot yesterday . its like a brown discharge but is def blood that sit. Anyways I went to hospital an they took blood an ultrasound ((vaginally )) . an we saw the echo (( babies heartbeat)) not the baby . too tiny. But the doctor said it was a threaten abortion or threaten miscarriage. ... So they sent me home because there's not much they can do. Plus the baby is still alive. Well today I got a little more of the brownish blood discharge . it wasn't a full pad or anything but a little more than yesterday . I know there's not much I can do but has any of you ladies been diagnosis with it an end up passing through it ???? I need some lady that has been thru this to reassure  me . please an thanks :'(

Omg its crazy I just went through the same thing my bleeding isnt really heavy and my cramps are kinda mild but they told me I have a threatned miscarriage but they couldnt see my baby on the ultrasound. My dr appointment is tomorrow and I wish yu the best of luck with your pregnancy!

I had the same with my pregnancy now and I'm 5 months. I wouldn't stress it that's just what they have to diagnose u with. When you go to ur ob they will explain that its normal for a lot of women. I was freaking out myself when it was happening to me but it only lasted 2 weeks give or so.

I went through that too with my last 3 pregnacy & i was literally bleeding like heavy period went to the hospital & they had told me the same thing i dicided to be on ned rest to be on the safe side & all 3 are alive & healthy it was a struggle but i did it

I bled for two days with some cramping then had spotting off and on for two weeks. I bled enough to have to wear a panty liner and it freaked my husband and I both out. But I've had three scans since then and the baby is perfect :) so just take it easy and try not to stress!

I had a threatened miscarriage as well. Was put on bedrest for 3 weeks. I had spotted brown discharge for about 5 weeks. Im now 17 weeks and my baby boy is fine :)

How long did you bleed? An how thick was the brown bloody discharge . I know a weird tmi moment but I just am curious if my bleeding is normal.

How long did you bleed Mommy_Daddy_2 ? Today will be the second day bleeding. An did you cramp? My cramps aren't like horrible but I am cramping. An I've had two pads with small biggest brown blood spot. A little thick . but its not filling pad up or anything.

I had a "threatened miscarriage" w/ my daughter & dr put me on bed rest for 3 days & all was well. She's now 6 :)

I ended up getting pregnant in october but i didnt know it until january! I had regular period each month and thenin january i didnt have one. We went to the doctor looking for a little peanut with a heart beat and all we saw was a big ol round head haha! But he is perfectly healthy and growing just fine, all i can say is try to be careful and pray pray pray

I had the same thing @ 5 weeks doc said it was from a uti.  I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow :) just don't stress! Good luck!

I had the same diagnosis with my first pregnancy at 5 weeks and 5 days. Doc said I had a UTI as well.. my son is now 3! Don't stress.. rest as much as you can, stay off your feet and stay hydrated.

Thank you so much. I sure hope everything will be fine. This is my second . an I was finally getting excited an now im so scared. Today made it worst . bc there was a lot more blood. I'm hoping it goes away an baby is fine. I'm suppose to be 7 wks an 4 days. But the baby is a week behind. So my doctor prescribed me premitrum. I appreciate your positive comment.

Could be that you are pushing yourself too hard or far. Take it easy and get your feet up for a bit. Drink lists of water and eat more fruits and vegetables rather then fried food and sweets

That's great news that you saw a heartbeat, your baby has a strong chance of being ok. A lot of women bleed in pregnancy for all sorts of reasons, some good, some bad. I had brownish/light pink bleeding at 7 weeks, and an ultrasound showed it was caused by a hematoma. My baby was ok, he's 11 months old now. Stay strong and rest up heaps, that will help a lot.
