maternity jeans

well... I bought my first pair of maternity jeans the other day! still a little bit big.. but I will def need them soon! nothing else is growing...but the belly! I guess that means its a boy..lol
Is it common in the early stages of pregnancy to just grow in the belly area??

Well, my wife started buying  maternity jeans when she was just 14 weeks..)

Im not a large person to begin with. I guess everyone is different.

I am glad to see that you are growing into your pregnancy.  

I have been watching way too much Discovery Healthy Channel lately.  I see women who BARELY eat and have very small babies.  It has been tuff on me to gain as much weight as I have, but I know my baby is healthy.  I'd rather have a little extra fat to lose than having a baby that is underweight.  I love being pregnant.  =)

Yes.. that sounds just life me. I still fit in my jeans everywhere else.. shirts too. its just the sides and belly.
I find out on the 13th!

I'm carrying all in front. I have barely gained weight anywhere else. If it wasn't for my belly I could still wear my normal jeans. lol. =) and I'm having a boy. My mom was the same way with my brothers, with my sister my mom blew up everywhere! (oh that sounds awful!)   When do you get to find out what you're having?

if i had to guess then i would say those are classic signs of a boy in the making but we'll see

i remember with my son that the first that grew was my backend then my belly and i didnt start showing with him until i was almost 6 months...this time around my belly is getting big quickly and im carrying the weight everywhere...i think the first thing that grew this time was my bbs and they are still growing....
