No baby?

Hi ladies, i took a home pregnancy test and was positive, I then had blood done and also came back positive. I have been having bad pain in my rigth ovary and spotting. When I told my gp about the pain he wanted me to do a urgent ultrasound, they found a cyst in my ovary but also no baby? They said not to worry as it might be too early but because of my light bleeding it could also be a miscarriage :( Any words of advice?

Just get a few more blood tests for beta hCG. When, or if, that level reaches about 2000, you should be able to detect an intrauterine gestational sac with transvaginal ultrasound. Baby might not be seen yet though. The cyst could be the corpus luteum which will most likely resolve.

U should be ok I had something similar as to a right pain and spotting on and off an entire month I was 8wks 4days along in my pregnancy when I found out and now I'm 28 wks pregnant with healthy bbygirl.....good luck

Give it some time if you just got a positive on a home test it can take up to after 8 weeks for them to see the baby on a ultrasound bc it's so little I will be sending prayers your way try not to stress to much goodluck and keep us posted
