No energy

So I have a couple concerns/questions; I am 6wks3days and I have absolutely no energy. I feel like doing nothing and just plain feel ugly and just blech. I hear you're supposed to listen to your body and rest but when my body is telling me to become part of the living room furniture I find it hard. Is there anything I can do to maybe be more energetic or to feel more happier? I'm so excited for the baby to come and so is my husband but I can see him being wore down by my emotional state. Help?

I was exhausted my first trimester, and with caring for my two yr old daughter, I was wiped out by the afternoon. My husband would come home from work, cook, clean, and help with our daughter. I felt horrible! But he said he would rather me and baby be OK then clean at the moment. I didn't understand it bc being pregnant with my daughter I worked full time and was in college full time. This one I had to take a month off work( I only work Saturdays)  I'm 15 weeks 4 days and have had my energy back for a couple weeks. It gets better!

Yes, this was my worst symptom, it was ridiculous. My friends used to laugh at me because whenever we went shopping, they could find me sitting down in the furniture section lol. But as soon as I entered my second trimester, it lightened up. I know that probably seems a long time from now, but it will get better. Your body is doing an amazing thing, so it's okay to rest.

Hang in there. This is totally normal and all because of the shift in hormones and extra blood pumping through you. Your body is doing some pretty hard work and the exhaustion will definitely wear off. It's just those first few weeks...you will get more energy soon. Make sure you do rest up when you can.
