I was told to start doing fetal kick counts at about 28 weeks - you can search on-line how to do it. My office gave me a sheet but to be honest I really don't understand it. Something about feeling 10 movements in 2 hrs - and if you don't then call the office. It says to drink juice and lay on your left side to count. I'm sure things are fine!!
hey toni... aubree started to get lazy around that time.. she would only move at certain times of the day and then i couldnt really feel her the rest od the day... when you feel hunter move try to remember what time of day it is around... aubree got pretty regular about kicking at 6 am in the morning... hope this helps
I had the same thing happen to me. I called my OB and she said that when they go through a growth spurt they are lazy and sleep alot more. I wouldnt worry unless you feel nothing at all.
your little one should be fine, probably just having a relaxing day (we all need them from time to time). Eating something very fruity like jelly babies or wine gums always makes my little one kick like crazy!
I am 20 weeks today and still don't feel movement or kicks (well... alittle movement)
I have heard of that before, I just didnt know if you had to be above so many weeks, you know? I have drink some POP this am and is feeling him pretty good now. All I drink on friday was apple juice, maybe thats why i didnt feel him as much???
Thanks
Have you tried the fetal kick test? Drink some OJ or a can of soda, lay on your left side and count his movements. I have heard different things on the number but mostly I hear you should feel 10 movement within 1 hour. If not, call your doc and let him/her know.
They suggest doing that if you feel a decrease in movement.
Good luck!
