Not knowing I'm in labor.

I'm 38 weeks, due in 8 days & at 36 weeks I was only 2cm dilated. I'm a ftm & I don't know how anything feels. I've had A LOT of stomach tightening. I've had contractions or pressure that hurt really bad & I can feel them as I sleep. They even make my back ache. I'm scared I won't know when I go into labor & have my baby on my kitchen floor lol How will I know when its the real deal?

I also worry about this. I'm only 25 weeks but I have no idea what to expect at the end and how to know I'm in labor. I should probably read my pregnancy books lol.

Feels like extreme mend trial cramps.

Real contractions will be close together and b so painful u can't walk while having one. U need to wait until the contraction is over before u can even breathe. There will b no question when Ur in labor. I'm preggo w my second now too! Congrats on Ur first!!! Its so exciting!
