Those of you with two kids...

Did you "know" you were pregnant sooner with the 2nd one than the first?  I ask because I am WAY more in tune with my body and my cycles since I had my daughter.  I am only 6DPO but the feelings I am having are leading me to feel like I am pregnant this month.  (extreme breast tenderness and CONSTANT dull achy period like cramps).  I had no clue I was pregnant with my daughter until I took a test.  This time I am noticing things much sooner...Did anyone else intuitively know sooner with their 2nd because they knew what to look for?

I suspected the weekend after my period that I was pregnant. I had gotten sick after drinking orange juice for no reason at all and felt completely fine after that- my husband asked immediately if I was pregnant. I started to get emotional and tired and knew I was pregnant, but the test came back negative. I went to the doctor for a yearly pap and was violated, so I switched doctors and told him that I was 2 days past when my period was due and was cramping, had other signs, and that I was sure I was pregnant so he did blood work, and sure enough, I was! I'm 20 weeks along now and even though this is a very different pregnancy than my first I became much more in tune with my body after my first pregnancy. The first time around I had missed two periods and still didn't think I was pregnant, but took a test because my fiance thought I might be. I was already 10 weeks along by the time I took a test and got to a doctor the first time, this time I was only 4 1/2 weeks at the first doctors appointment. Good Luck!

I am TTC #3 and like with my daughter (#2) I pretty much had the feeling right away along with my hubby. It wasn't 100% sure but it was there and I took the test I guess I was 10 DPO and got a faint line. When I was telling him he's like I told you so. I am the same way right now, with him a little more + than I am but its like I know I am but if not I will go and try again!  But with both of my previous pregnancies the symptoms were totally different like with my first I didn't know I was pregnant for 2 months. I just didn't believe it since I had no symptoms at all. And with my daughter I had every symptom in the book!! Good Luck and SSBD to you!! Hugs :o)

I sure hope that I am BUT I just had another thought on why I might be feeling this way.  I had been doing weight watchers for quite a while and took the week off due to a LOT of special occassions this past week.  I am now wondering if the introduction of SO much junk food has made me feel so yucky and tired!  :(

This overanalyzing everything is driving me nuts!  LOL!  I can't test until the end of the week and it's going to feel like an eternity!  :)

Yes, i have one daughter, have had one mc and am now 24 weeks pregnant i had no idea with my first although we were trying, until i took the test as i really didn't now what i was experiencing (my early pregnancy symproms mirror AF very well).  But with my mc and this pregnancy i new pretty soon after conception as i had the same feeling in my tummy, exhaustion from get go and early cramps.  My nipples also got larger and darker very quickly.

I gotta say, my husband is PARANOID that I'm gonna get pregnant right away after having this one. he's already said that we will use Condoms %100 of the time even for a little while after I get my Copper IUD.  (i wanna wait 2 years til my next baby!)

my symptoms showed up a lot sooner with my second than my first, it could just be coincidence though.

Thanks ladies!!  I wondered if it was possible to "just know".  Do you remember how soon you knew?  I know the mind can do/create some crazy things in your body...especially when it comes to womanly things.  I don't even know if it's physically possible to "know" or feel ANY symptoms at only 6DPO???

I suspected but when I took the preg. test I got such a faint line and I about passed out. It was so surreal and even unexpected, even though the symptoms were there.

I'm TTC our third and I feel that same dull, achy feeling you are and my boobs do feel funny (I have no clue how many dpo I am, though. I think I'm 4 or 5 dpo).

Well I've don't have two kids but I was pregnant twice. I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2005 I didn't even know I was pregnant until I went to the hospital with really bad pain. I remember the doctor telling me that the reason my period has been for 20 days straight was because either I was pregnant or I had a cyst. I actually phoned my whole family and told them I had a cyst.

The second pregnancy (now) I knew right away because my pee was lighter in colour just like when I had my ectopic pregnancy. Maybe that sounds silly but that was my first sign. I started to get cramps just like I was having another ectopic pregnancy so I already knew without taking a hpt. My boyfriend wanted me to take one so I did.  So this is my first good pregnancy YAYY I'm almost due I can't wait!!!!
