OT: HELP PLEASE four month child

For the last two days my 4 month old girl one eye has been watery and this morning it start to look swollen.  This is the same eye that she rub when she is tired, everytime she wakes up there's eye booger, we thought it might be pink eye (some same symptoms)  but the white part of her is not red, it doesn't itch.  My dh mother said that my dh gets it alot when he was younger and it could just be irritate since with the weather changing, everychild get watery/swollen eye, and it's her eye that she rub when she is tired.  We been cleaning it with warm cloth and keeping it dry and also putting warm cloth on that eye.

Thank you so much! My husband call first nurse and they said that to take her temp and see if there's anything in her eyes.  if there's nothing, could be pink eye and told us to take to the clinic; the stupid clinic was close so I will call my daughter's doc tomorrow and see what they say.

It could be soooooo many different things. Some babies have blocked tear ducts and this will happen. It could be a cold, infection, pink eye, etc. Best bet is to have it tested. Call her doctor in the morning and ask if she can get in. They'll swab the inside of her eye lid and test it to see what's going on.

just sounds the beginning of a sinus cold.  Or normal cold.  That happens a lot.  But do take a warm clothe and keep the eye goober booger free!

I'd try going to the web md site...not sure if it is allergies or an infection or what...I find the web md site to be helpful when trying to figure out what something might be and whether or not you should call the doc.
