OT: I LOST TEN LBS

Another thing I have to bring up to my doc is my inability to lose weight. It's been a year since DD was born and I've lost only ten lbs (most of it just this past week---and I haven't been doing anything different). My goal is to lose 60 (and now it is 50---woo hoo!).

I'm thinking I have a hormone imbalance because my forehead broke out a little which is never does, I've been weepy which I never am, and things of that nature. That would affect my ability to lose weight, too.

I guess I'm not really asking anything. Just throwing out how excited I am to have lost 10 lbs! Only 50 more to go. I'm not huge, but definitely needing to slim down some! Maybe that's been affecting my cycles?! I'm so anxious about my appointment that I can't sleep. I'd rather it be hormone imbalance over endometriosis!!! It's almost 1 AM here. G'night!

I feel ya girl!!! I need to lose about 30 pounds!! I've been walking here lately that way when I do find out I'm preggers I can kinda be use to it. I refuse to gain 65 pounds again with my second one...LOL....Anyways goodluck at the Dr's office can't wait to till you get back and share your news!

I agree with Leanna26, if you haven't recently had your thyroid checked, you may want to suggest that they do that......Alot of times after having children it throws your tyroid out of whack.....which affects tons of things; sleep, libido, headaches, weight loss/gain and inability to gain/lose weight.
What time is your appt.?

If you have been having trouble losing weight, and think it may be hormones ask them to check your thyroid. Sometimes during and after pregnancy it goes off wack, which can cause the weight gain.

congrats on the weight loss! i bet you look great with or without the 10 pounds! good luck losing the remainder!
