I recieve Baby Talk magizine and in the May 2008 issue they have the cuteist Mothers Day Every Day article and I thought I would share it with yall.
OCCASION: You produce your tenth quart of breast milk.
PRESENT: A suede jacket ( hey if you're going to be milked like a dairy cow, you might as well get the snazzy coat.)
OCCASION: You survive reading Goodnight Mon a total of 58 times in one sitting.
PRESENT: A telephone, a red balloon, and a great green room at th Plaza Hotel.
OCCASION: While changing a hazmat-grade diaper on a public park bench, you run out of baby wipes and realize you have no diapers, either.
PRESENT: Therapy
OCCASION: You go out for a rare hour of "me" time and accidentally spend it napping on a crosstown bus.
PRESENT: A designer bag ( to replace the one stolen during your nap)
OCCASION: In search of your baby's favroite paci, you waste half a morning rooting through playground trash.
PRESENT: Bubble Bath and Chanel NO. 5
OCCASION: You scrub 1,000 flecks of pureed squash off the dining room walls, unaware that you are also scrubbing off the paint.
PRESENT: More Therapy
OCCASION: You lovingly recoed every detail of your childs first month in her baby book.
PRESENT: A professional planner for her first birthday party (which is next week)
OCCASION: You greet your spouse with girlish enthusiasm after a long day of projectile vomit, projectile poop, and a suprise visit from your in-laws.
PRESENT: Academy Award.
I thought this was too cute.
