please help - so confused!

Ok you'll have to bare with me this is very complex...my period is 7 days late, I took a pregnancy test last night which showed a thick horizontal line with a slim faint vertical, I took another one this morning same thing happened. I took a digital clearblue this afternoon and it said not pregnant. My partner and I had sex a week before christmas and aproximately 10 days ago, I have been suffering with what can only be discribed as sea sickness for the past 3 days. I do have a hyiatus hernia and stomach is never normal, but this is different. - recently changed my pill, had 2 periods with it 2 days after I stopped taking it.....taking all this into consideration.....pregnant or not?! Can you see why I'm confused!! Thanks x

Doctors confirmed I was pregnant, but unfortunately I have miscarried, I've gone for blood work today and and will do again in 48 hours, I have a scan in a week as I was 5 weeks pregnant :(

I will do - I'm going to take a first response saturday Am ( I have a promotional interview tomorrow so don't want to know either way otherwise the int will be a mess!) Is there a chance I could literally be just 10-12 days pregnant?

As far as I know, the pill will not give a false positive result. On the pregnancy test boxes it says what drug can and can't effect the result of the test, the pill is on the can't list. Let us know how it goes. Its defiantly a complicated situation, because of switching your pill. I'd suggest finding out asap though, so you know whether or not to continue taking it. Again good luck! :)

I might do that then - if it comes up positive is there any chance it could be my pill and that I wouldn't actually be pregnant?

I would defiantly test with the first response with the first morning urine. When I found out I was pregnant, I tested 5days early, got 3positives with the first response and a negative with the clear blue digital(I took all the tests I had in my house at once!) So I figured the same as u, the first response detects a level of 12.5. And the clear blue digital 50. Good luck.

Well that's what I thought - evap line - however this line came up within the alloted timeframe and has never gone away! That's what I'm thinking of doing the first 2 tests I took check for a min level of 25 whereas the digital look for a min of 50....I've made an appt to see dr on the 26th jan........

The only drawback of blue dye tests is they have false positives and evap lines that confuse many people. Get a new digital, wait a few days or so and use the with first morning urine. Whatever the end result is, make an appointment with your doctor. If it's positive you can start on your prenatal care and if it's negative you can request blood work. Good luck! I hope you get the answer you're looking for.

Yes they did and they are blue dye (clearblue easyview I think it was called) - the second test I did was using first morning urine and I got the same result asd I did the evening before. There still showing the same result now after 1-2 days!

Did the first tests actually have any form of colour to them? Also, what dye was it. (Blue or pink) Get a new test, first response is the best on the market, and use it with first morning urine. In early pregnancy anything used later will often cause an inaccurate answer as the urine is too diluted.
