I had my first ultrasound today!
DH and I got to see our second baby today!!! The woman at the ultrasound place was complaining that I hadn't had enough water prior to coming (when I was pg. with DS, I drank the "required" 2 litres of water prior to my first ultrasound and I thought I was going to DIE so I drank a lot less this time). Anyway, despite the lecture I got about how "each day is different" with regards to how your bladder proceses fluids and yadda yadda, she totally had a clear view and got all of the pictures she needed.
Baby was moving around a lot, flipping around, actually, and the little heart was fluttering away! :-) According to the u/s, I'm 12w 4d - which is more or less where I had calculated.
We were so excited to see our second little bean! We'll be telling both of our families in person in the next couple of weeks - DH's this coming weekend, and mine the following weekend.

Sorry....I realized that I have to black out the personal information on the u/s (yes, I'm paranoid)....and I'm too lazy to do it right now (lol).....Maybe later, ok, ladies? :-)
That's exciting, first pictures!!! I remember my 20 week appointment that I had at a specialist...I had to drink 40 oz just to find out that I was only supposed to drink 20...I actually had to pee two times during the ultrasound just so the tech could see better...I had to wait 2 hours after I drank it because they messed up my appointment time. So not only did I think I was gonna go way before I got in the room, I had to make myself not completely empty my bladder...I had to count out 10 seconds each time I peed so I knew when to stop...
Congrats so much! It is always exciting to see them as beans and then remember those moments when you are holding them! When do we get to see pics?
