OT, but I just have to tell you ladies...

We adopted two puppies yesterday. They are sooo cute. They're Border Collie/Lab mix. They are only about 7 weeks old, and so adorable. One is blonde and the other is black. We named them Lady and Princess. They had been abandoned out in the country and a gentleman picked them and 5 other dogs up to find them homes. As of Friday we will be fostering the others until we can find homes for them. If he couldnt find homes for them by Friday the Sheriff was going to destroy them because there is not a shelter out in that county and our county wont drive out to pick them up. So, we are doing our part to save these dogs. Holy cow, its going to be crazy until we find them all homes. Another gal is going to pay out of pocket to get them all spayed/neutered and vaccinated, then she will help us find homes for them. Ill post some pics of our puppies this weekend so you can see how adorable they are.

Now we officially have "the perfect little family". Or Zoo is more like it. There is my fiance, me, my two daughters, McKenzi on the way, 3 cats, a bunny, a hampster, a bunch of fish, and now two puppies. Can you imagine. I am so happy. Well, I am gonna go to lunch so I will talk to ya in a little while.

For sure they are going to be smart/loyal dogs - anyone would be lucky to have them.  Good luck finding a home for them!

Thank you. It makes me feel really good that we can do it. I have never had the room to be able to help like that, but now we do. I just hope we can find homes for all of them. We dont have the finances to keep them long term. But we are going to do what we can while we can.
Yes. They do have lots of energy. I think these two may be a bit more like labs than border collie though. The gal that is getting them spayed and stuff is part of a border collie rescue team, and said they dont have enough border collie in them to post them on the Border Collie Rescue site, but we should be able to find homes for them pretty quickly.

Border Collies have tons of energy!  I can't imagine little ones!!  I hope your daugthers make best friends with the puppies and play lots!  That is so great of you to adopt and foster the dogs - Bless you for doing that!

Ohhh we have a border collie ... is she ever rambunctious! But with two they will probably keep each other entertained ... have fun :)

Congrats on the two little blessings! We used to have a border collie mix. He was SO SMART and so sweet! But watch those tails (ouch!).
