Cool...seems pretty easy to me, just make sure you take breaks. Good luck!!!
Getting paid to stand there, say hi and give stickers to people who are returning things, or stickers for kids is funny to me!! hahaah
Yayyyyyyyyyy!! Congratulations!
well I'm back and I got the job!!!!! Woooo. It's only a People Greeter but idc! It's a job!!
I use to be assistant manager at walmart couple yrs ago---depends on what area, you have to stand a lot and be able to lift. Being in your conditions, they would probably ask you to give them a doctor's notice and make sure you have a backup medical insurance because they will probably say that your pregnancy is preexisting and you will not be cover under their insurance.
I worked for Wal-Mart for many years. If you are hired they will give you a test that I called the "honesty" test. It's a group of questions and answers that talks about what you would do in certain situations. Like, "Who would you tell on staff if you saw a customer stealing? Would you try to stop the customer or notify management?" That kind of thing. The questions are kinda tricky on purpose, to see if you are an honest person.
Be real upfront about your pregnancy, cause Wal-Mart will have you trying to carry heavy loads and such, if you don't tell them that you currently have a "disablity of sorts." Pregnancy! With you having twins, I am not sure that it's a good idea to start a new job like this. Starting any new job is alot of stress.
You will have to watch video's after you are hired, which are boring, all about Wal-Mart and how it started. One thing is for sure, you will be on your feet most of the day.
Their health insurance is pretty good and they give you life insurance for free, I think up to $25,000, anything more you pay for. Health insurance for the associate used to be free, family members extra. That may have changed since I worked there.
I was hired for the office, so at the time I worked there, they made us wear dresses. I dont think that applies anymore.
The pay is not terrific and they ask alot of you. But you get to buy into the company and the benefits are pretty decent. That was the only good thing about working for Wal-Mart. Oh and when I was there, you were only paid every two weeks.
If you want the job badly, I wish you the best of luck. I would check with your doctor about him wanting you to work at all. It can be a demanding job for someone carrying twins.
Good Luck to you,
Heather
that sounds good, yum, lol. yea it wont be bad at all. lots of luck tomorrow!!
woo! lol Good cause I only have 5.00 bucks and now I plan on going to subway! lmao
Thinking of a pizza. Mmmmmm haha. Anyways, Thanks for your help. I'll let ya know how it goes tomorrow!!
Do you have to pay for the drug test? My friend said she didn't have to, but I'm not sure!
hey, its been years since i worked there, but its no biggy. if i remb right they will ask you a bunch of questions how you would handle stuff and how you work with people and just common stuff. just tell them the truth. most of the time if you take the drug test your in. the test are expensive and there not gonna give it to you if your not going to be working there. im sure you will get the job. just take it easy with the 2 lil bundles of joy. good luck!!
