My husband is 6' 6'' too, and you're right they're not hard to miss lol. We're at Camp Humphreys which is about two hours south of Seoul (Youngsan), and about forty five minutes south of Osan AFB.
smj---i didn't know you were in s korea! where at? i have an ex there (really nice guy) who teaches at a private school attended mostly by military kids. i briefly toyed with the notion of joining him over there!! egads... of course that was 5 years ago, lol.
i wonder if y'all are near each other :-) he's hard to miss around town---he's 6' 6", doesn't blend in very well!!
Heck no, we stay and fight, if you're not a civilian. We definitely wouldn't be doing it alone, we are actually backing S Korea right now, and no a single country is behind N Korea with their recent events. N Korea is SCR**ED if they try to attack.
It is a scary time, I don't think anyone here in the US wants to be engaged in ANOTHER war, however I think that if something were to happen with N Korea, we wouldn't be going in it alone hopefully.
Do they not clear out the bases in S Korea if something like that were to happen?
If N Korea attacks, I may not be in a safe place, well not maybe, I won't period. Their missiles can reach all of S Korea and Japan. N Korea understands but they are threatening a lot. I know it's probably them just showing their @$$es but still, I'm worried. I know more about it all the time, DH is MI and he gets info before the news.
I think that we are all worried about that, but I am sure that N Korea understands how they are going to get wiped off the face of the earth if they try to attack S Korea or Japan...
You are in a safe place, keep your hopes up.
