OUCH HELP!!

Is indigestion a sharp annoying pain between your ribs right above your stomach and goes shooting into your back?! I have this and I am literally in tears cause it hurts so bad. I haven't experienced this before and it says on line it could be indigestion. Anyone? Help! If it is indigestion, what can I take???!!!

If it dose not go away then you should see a dr.  My sister had to have her galbladder removed during pregnancy and she told me that it was a horrble pain under her ribs.  Try taking TUMS an see if that helps.  If it dose not then call your dr.  God Bless, Anita

SOunds like it, I get heartburn and indigestion so bad that it goes into my back. You can try taking some tums for now but they may not help since it is so severe. Sleep on an incline tonight and call your OB in the morning. I was prescribed prilosec OTC by my OB, it is a class C but the ladies on the maternal forum convinced me that my doc wouldn't have prescribed it if he didn't think it was safe.
