The hpt is toying with me...

My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for 7 months now and this month I am 6 days late for my period and my nipples are really sore. Last night I bought a hpt and it came back with what I thought was positive.(Really light, but it was there immediately so I didn't think it was an evaporation line). Because it was so light I went and bought 2 more tests, and first thing this morning (4:30 am) I tried again, this time the result was negative. I know first morning urine is supposed to be the most accurate so now I am severely disappointed. I really thought I was pregnant!!  I'm not sure when I should take the third test.

I wouldnt always go by morning urine only.somtimes late  afternoon works,did for me,you maybe really early.you may have ovulated slightly later.i would wait until the weekend if nothing test again.and i agree try digital or first reponse you can use FR as early as 5 days before your due,

Did you use the same brand? Is it a blue dye test? Blue dye tests are known for evaporation lines, and can show up in the time frame for reading the HPT for accurate results. I suggest using a First Response Early Result, or digital.
