Odd question

May be TMI...

But I went to the RR at work and noticed Ive started to have this yellow mucousy like discharge. Its like what you would have if sick with a cold. Im just curious if this might be the plug everyone is talking about? Ive never had the whole loosing of the plug before so its new to me.

And is that good or bad if it is? Im currently 24 wks but have been going through a lot of stress.

Id deff call your ob and just explain it to him. I thought it was normal explained it to my doc and he didnt even check me or get a sample right away he knew it was a yeast infection and treated me for it.

Ive hAd that. I doubt its your plug. If it doesnt smell Nd doesnt keep happening then dont worry about it. If it is your plug however dont worry because it regenerates.

I've had that, and I called my LD eval and the nurse told me it was yeast build up. Said it's normal for prego women. ?? She said your plug looks kinda like slim.

Stress can make you go into early labor so I suppose. I'd give your doc a call. No one mentioned this but it might be other normal discharge as well. This may sound gross but if yougooogle mucus plug you can see images of the discharge you get. I had some discharge at 24 weeks I'm 28 weeks now and still okay :) good luck I'm sure it will be fine

It wasnt clear - sorta yellowish like what you'd see when you blow your nose in a kleenex when you have a cold. I feel foolish for being upset over it but Ive had scares with the pregnancy of my 5 yr old and its not something Id want to go through again. Can stress cause you to lose it early?

I was thinking of doing that tuesday since they'll be open then. Is it supposed to go all at once ore can it be little by little? And how would they be able to tell that its the mucous plug?

I would call your doctor just to be safe, sounds like your mucus plug to me, and its extremely early for your body to be dislodging it..

It could be part of your plug, there's a lot of mucus up there and it regenerates so don't worry if you just lost a bit of it. I lost a ton of mine at 30 weeks with my son and ended up not going into labor until I was 42+5.
