It depends I heard ppl go into labor within hours of losing their plug up to weeks. I'm overdue and I lost my plug yesterday at noon. As of right now I have menstrual cramps and lower back pain.
I think it is. I had been losing mine in small pieces for over a month (26 weeks pregnant)and started having very strong menstrual like cramping at night that my doctor said we just braxton hicks. I had diarrhea and vomiting Saturday and Sunday (33weeks pregnant) and on 11/24 I went into the e.r. because of decreased fetal movement. Come to find out I was having contractions that ended up being 2-3 min apart, dilated 1 1/2 cm and thinned out 30 percent. I was going into premature labor. Even the doctor was suprised and felt bad that he had brushed off all my warning signs are bh and a stomach virus. So, if you start to feel off, different, uneasy, don't hesitate to let your dr know and have them check you.
christine917 I think so and I've been going to the toilet a lot for a number 2 sorry lol but hopefully baby can stay in their for another 2weeks and I'm weeing all the time and my baby girl is headdown thow
Unfortunately loosing the mucus plug isn't a sign of labor. I lost mine 4 weeks before my daughter. The loose stool could be the start of the cleansing process. Hopefully it's the start of labor for you.
