natural m/c vs D&C

What do you ladies advise?

natural mc vs D&C

I have had a previous D&C then proceeded to have lining issue's. I finally was able to get my lining perfect and now m/c. We have no further embryo's left. We will be looking into either sperm doner with iui or donor/adopt embryo. We can't afford much more financially or emotionally.

hi,

i delivered my 1st baby still born (due to birth defect) at 16 weeks and was pregnant again 3 months later. at my 8 week scan which was my 2nd scan that pregnancy i was diagnosed blighted ovum, i had a d&c after that (it was very very painful for me afterwards and lots of bleeding for about 2 weeks) took me 6 months to fall pregnant again after the d&c. my 3rd pregnancy i started bleeding at 6 weeks and miscarried just after that, it was more like a very heavy period for me (which i do suffer with) and i had pain with it. i miscarried at home and i would say it was less traumatic than the d&c (pain and emotional wise). it took me 5 months after the miscarriage to fall pregnant again and i now have 3 kids who are 6, 4 and 3.
i know what you mean about the emotional input, it's so draining and there were times when i said enough i can't do this anymore. but try and keep the end goal in mind, it will all make sense once you have that desperately longed for baby in your arms
best wishes

I have had 2 D&C's and didnt have problem concieving again. I had my son, then had a molar pregnancy and had to have a d&c, i got pregnant 3 months later and had a healthy baby girl. Then my second mc the baby didnt develop and had a choice to mc naturally or have a D&C (i chose the d&c) and within a month and a half i was pregnant and had a healthy baby boy. now pregnant with my fourth. Im sorry you have to go through this, i know how hard it is, you just have to keep you faith and remember its nothing your doing wrong.

I've had 2 natural miscarriages and then conceived 2 months after the last m/c and carried to term with no issues.  Never had a d&c but my mom has and when she did, it was followed by 6 more miscarriages and she never conceived again, but she also had thyroid problems as well. I know miscarrying natural when possible is much better for you body than a d&c but I also understand that sometimes it's necessary to have one. I am so sorry you have to go through all of this. It's always better to wait and see if your body does it on its own.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I have had 2 natural m/c and 1 d&c.  I have conceived after the natural ones, but not after the d&c (yet).  It was in Dec, but we haven't really been "trying" too hard (yet).
The d&c wasn't a bad experience, physically, but I don't know.  If you had issues last time I would probably wait for natural.
