My mucous plug came out and then the next day my water broke. I guess it just depends on the person.

Theres no certain order. With my first pregnancy I didn't have any signs of loosing my mucus plug and I was dilated then my water broke. With my second pregnancy which I am 38 weeks now I started to dilate first then I started loosing little pieces of my mucus plug but no sign of baby yet im praying for my water to break because I heard it hurts when the doctors break your water.

Most women's water doesn't break. Most of the time a Dr does it when your in the hospital. And I'm on preg 3 and never lost My mucus plug with any of them. Nor did my water break. U can start dialating at anytime.

There is no specific order for labor to start I could have none of that and just start having contractions or a number of different scenarios

You can't always see your mucus plug come out sometimes it comes out in little pieces. You start thinning and dilating when regular rhythmic contractions start i was 6 centermeaters dilated when my doctor decided to break my water but it can break on its own at any time after dilation starts or you'r doctor can break it.

There is no real order. Everybody goes into labor differently. Some people their water doesn't break and they have been dilated for weeks. Some people don't lose their mucus plug until they are in labor.

I lost a little of my mucus plug. Then my doctor started checking me and I'm dilated to a 1. And I'm still losing mucus plug. I'm 38 weeks and 4 days. No sign of baby yet.
