Is it normal to experience chest pain at 10 weeks? It's been awful today. Mostly a dull pain, but it hurts nonetheless.

Could it be heartburn? I never had it until I got pregnant....tums are okay while pregnant, some other anti acids are not....prob should talk to your doc to be safe

I have a heart condition that started a few years ago. My chest pains were a lot worse early in my pregnancy than they are now. I'm now 29 weeks. My OBGYN sent me to a cardiologist that specializes in pregnant women and he said that it was okay for me to continue with my pregnancy (not that terminating was ever an option for me) but to be prepared for possible bed rest and a possible c-section. I'm not sure if chest pain is considered "normal" though, so you should consult with your doctor. They may send you to a cardiologist just to make sure everything is okay.
