Hehehe I know everybody is just hormonal and I'm sure the young lady who started this post didn't mean to offend anyone either. I have two more weeks till my due date and I'm so excited but Dr. Said she won'tlet me go past 41 weeks so iI trust her to do her job its just a waiting game for this momma and it just means daddy gets to spoil me!!! And you poor thing carrying twins I can't imagine the pain your in. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and carry to your 36 week mark if not closer. I'm jealous because you get double the bundle of joy!!! :)))))
I'm 29 + 3days with my first pregnancy and I'm carrying twins! I do get jealous of women who carry one because my fear everyday is that my lil ones ate going to be premies and my goal and birth plan according to my doctor is to reach 36 weeks I wish I can make it full term 40 weeks because I only want the best for my little ones and there's nothing healthier than babies developing and "cooking" in mu tummy . I'm not saying its easy ! Its tough and I do complain but its better for the babies ! So every lady has a different story and reason ... but just keep in mind what some take for grantes others only hope for. GOOD LUCK LADIES!!
yes i am and i wasnt trying to start a fight. im also only 31+3 so i still have a while to go lol the impression i got is that inducing period is bad unless its after your due date which drs. can be way off on your due date so idk goodluck to everyone too!
The joys of shoving hormonal pregnant women together. :) texasbaby I bet you are excited to finally have your baby in your arms. And like I said before I am not directing my comments to anyone in particular. Trying to induce at 30 weeks is just heartbreaking. Best of luck to everyone and their bundles of joy. :)))
you said if "y'all" wanna risk hurting your child talking about being induced, so ya im sure that you were including me in this convo. your not even pregnant are you so why are you here? im not going to kindly excuse myself because im not fighting. your the one that caused the argument by posting this in the first place im not the only one who got offended it is just clear to me that you dont know everything you are talking about as you are not a dr.
Then exactly why are you fighting about it? Did you fall under any part of this? Did I say your using caster oil ? No did I say your doing this because your uncomfortable no! This post is aimed for those who are trying to induce by using things that aren't recommended and for reasons that are not necessary like being uncomfortable and over pregnancy so you can kindly excuse yourself from this conversation seeing as your causing arguments over nothing that has to do with you k thanks have a grand healthy rest of your pregnancy :)
not only that im not the one guzzling down castor oil to pop my baby out..im not an idiot! that to me is putting your child at a real risk.
Im pretty sure you do want to argue?! Im not risking my childs life lady...and i dont have any complications and ive been induced before. this isnt my first baby hun this is my 3rd!!!! Im pretty sure ive been down this road a few times and know what im doing. im also going to school and ill eventually be delivering babies one day too! You must be insane if you want to start saying people are risking their babies... thats being judgemental! If i didnt have a normal uncomplicated pregnancy then my midwife wouldnt allow it. plus it isnt your baby so i dont see why you are getting upset. im not getting induced to force my baby out! ive never in my life of a baby dying from the mom getting induced.
A medically induced c section can lead to a c section. Its a fifty percent chance because your cervix don't ripen. Now if you are full term that is a different story. And I totally agree with you getting your induced so your husband will be there. Its an important moment. Pineapple sex and walking is what my midwife prescribed it is all natural sex softens your cervix walking gets the baby in postion and puts pressure on your cervix. Pineapple you wouldnt really do anything unless you eat the equilavent of five pineapples in one day!!! Yummy. Castor oil, nipple stimulation and others not listed are not recommended by docs for a reason. Just make smart healthy desicions ladies.
And I didn't say your baby isn't going to pop out I said most babies don't just pop out in ten min, if y'all wanna go ahead and risk the possibility of hurting your child and having complications go for it, none of us are going to stop you we said our opinions and if your going to be close minded then that's your problem I'm not here to argue
And ya there are complications that can happen at 42 weeks that's why you wait till after your due date to get medically induced! Not as soon as you step foot into"full term" just cuz you hit 36 weeks doesn't mean your baby is done cooking they just don't stop your labor, I just don't see why you would force your baby out, if the doctor chooses to induce that's one thing but all this at home drinking caster oil and stuff is just horrible! There is a reason most doctors DONT recommend it
Most inductions do not end up in c-sections
Actually my baby could pop out in ten mins. You never know and I live an hr. Away from the hospital. My last labor I went on my own on my due date and was dilated to a seven when i got there and pushed for maybe 5 mins! With my first pregnancy I had to be emergency induced and didn't have a c section. I'm not trying to rush my pregnancy so your trippin for no reason.lol everyone is different and entitled to do what they want! If my husband is in new York working and I'm in Texas and he has to drive to the airport wait for a flight then her picked up at the airport here And drive an hour and a half there may not be time. I'm also a nursing student and have done tons of research. If I'm not at least dilated and thinned out a little bit by 38 weeks then my midwife won't induce me. So either way nothing is "planned"
I didn't say being induced hurts the baby. I said it puts them in distress. So you are telling me that NATURAL ways of inducing labor are wrong but medically forcing your baby out is fine? How is pineapple, sex and waking going to hurt my child? Plus I'm 39 weeks. I'm not going to wait til I'm 42 weeks when there are other risks for her. Plus most inductions end up in a csection anyway. Look at what the other girls post.
I am 31 weeks and did not realise how challenging pregnancy would be. I feel ridiculously selfish because I moan about being sore, tired etc. I would never wish him out before he is ready though. If we can go 36 weeks what's another 4 or 5 to make sure your baby is healthy
I'm am seriously loving this post. I truly hope that it helps some young lady make a good healthy choice for her and her baby!!!
And no being medically induced doesn't hurt the baby, it's safer then self inducing, especially since your there and they can monitor your baby and make sure it's ok, if you do it at home and your babies heart rate goes up your not able to do anything about it! And if your doctor says your baby is too big they will schedule a c-section for you
Like I said for medical reasons is a totally different story. If your baby is full term. Anybody who is trying a home remedy to get the baby to come at 32 or 34 that isn't fair to you baby. Their poor little lungs aren't done growing the baby isn't done growing. A doctor and professional medically trained staff monitors us if we are getting induced. But dying the home remedy and stuff when Jr isn't ready is going to get a lot of head shakings.like I said there are plentybof women who pray everyday that they can go one more week if not day to not have their baby. And I think if your blessed with a healthy pregnancy then let your body due what its designed to do!!
Ya this is an advice forum and this is advice for those who are trying to induce themselves, this is a post to open their eyes! If you want to get offended that is your own problem, I am not here to judge anyone but to get them to realize how dangerous it can be and selfish if is to do so! I tried to induce myself and none of it worked! Thank god! But I didn't realize the dangers and the difference until by friend had her baby two weeks after me and she had him just a week early at 39 weeks! There is a huge difference in our babies! A difference in size and development and future effects! I totally understand wanting your husband there, mine worked 7hrs away in the oilfield but you know what when you go into labor most of the time they don't pop out in ten min, yes it's a risk to take but is it worth your baby not getting that last pound or that last few days maybe even weeks to finish developing ? It's like a cake, you wanna take it out 5 min early it's not gonna be finished cooking and it's not gonna taste as good because you brought that cake out a few min early
Some of us don't want to be induced with medicine. Being induced with medicine is what puts the baby in distress and usually will end up in a csection Its not being selfish. Plus my daughter is actually too big for my body to carry any longer.
