Ovulation cramps

My husband and I have been TTC for almost four years with no luck yet other then two miscarriages. As of right now, I'm ovulating and we had intercourse last night. I did everything the doctor told me to do, flip over on all fours, elevate my hips. I woke up this morning at 6:30am with period like cramps. I'm not due to start for another 2 weeks. Has anyone had this after sex during ovulation? Any words of advise would be great!

Thanks,

Lauren

I have been off the pill for 9 months now and the last 4 months I experience very bad ovulation pain. one month i went to the hospital to make sure it was nothing else. it wasn't. Sometime when i am ovulating and we have intercourse it gets more painful then it was before. We have been trying to concieve. I see the GYN in 3 weeks. I am thinking that there may be a bit of endrometrosis. I have heard it can cause bad pain and prevent u from getting pregnant. They can perform a D and C and clear it all up. Some women have told me after their D and C they got pregnant in no time at all. I'll keep you posted on what he says. In the mean time if u hear of anything let me know. Thanks, and best of luck to you.

So finally did you get pregnant? Actually my wife is trying to get pregnant for last 3 months and this time on ovulation day she had a mild cramping on her right side just like you. Her cycle happens on every 10th and she is due on 2 weeks.
