Bowling while Pregnant?

Hey Ladies I was wondering if its safe to bowl at 27 weeks pregnant. I wanna go bowling so bad. I mean I think it should be safe as long as I just use a very light ball? What do you think?? Did any of u go bowling while u were pregnant? If so how far along were you?

I wanted to add that if you've had ANY complications with your pregnancy it's not a good idea.  My pregnancies were completely normal and had not cause for concerns.  ANY complications though should definitely be addressed with your doctor BEFORE you try bowling.

I bowled regularly up until I delivered with two of my pregnancies.  It took a little adjusting to accomodate my big belly. I used a 10-12 lb ball.  Never had any issues.  I would suggest you be very careful and make sure that you go slow so that, like Michele said, you don't fall.  It's up to you, of course, but if you pregnancy has been healthy thusfar as long as you don't overdo it *I* don't see why you can't.

I would def not recommend that and I'm sure your doc wouldn't either...especially since you have been in the hospital, but even without that, you could very easily lose your balance and fall.  Very easy to do during pregnancy.  I'd say no.  I wouldn't take that chance.
