I bowled during my last pregnancy and it was ok but I also went slow and we mostly went duck pin or smaller ball bowling with kids but this time I haven't due to being on bedrest butif u have had any issues with ur pregnancy I would consult ur dr frist
I wanted to add that if you've had ANY complications with your pregnancy it's not a good idea. My pregnancies were completely normal and had not cause for concerns. ANY complications though should definitely be addressed with your doctor BEFORE you try bowling.
I bowled regularly up until I delivered with two of my pregnancies. It took a little adjusting to accomodate my big belly. I used a 10-12 lb ball. Never had any issues. I would suggest you be very careful and make sure that you go slow so that, like Michele said, you don't fall. It's up to you, of course, but if you pregnancy has been healthy thusfar as long as you don't overdo it *I* don't see why you can't.
I would def not recommend that and I'm sure your doc wouldn't either...especially since you have been in the hospital, but even without that, you could very easily lose your balance and fall. Very easy to do during pregnancy. I'd say no. I wouldn't take that chance.
