PMS not pregnancy right?

I recently had a miscarriage... on the 29th of April... I was about 5 weeks pregnant... and going by my normal periods and if i had have got my period on time (it was 4days late with the miscarriage) then i would be expecting my period today... I haven't got it yet though... I've had a lot of vaginal discharge, i've been really emotional, angry suddenly for no reason and I have been urinating hourly... even waking up about hourly to go to the toilet... I've had period pain and thought i had got my period already, but when i went to check, it still hasn't come... I don't think i could be pregnant again... even though, stupidly, my partner and i had unprotected sex... it was about 5days before my period would be due (today) so I don't think i would have been able to get pregnant from that... My breasts have also been really tender which isn't a PMS sign for me... Today when I woke up I felt a bit like I was going to be sick but after I had breakfast it went away then later in the day after i had a large meal i felt really sick again... can all this happen after a miscarriage when your next period is due? somebody asked me today if i'm pregnant i have been that emotional and moody... am i right that i couldn't' be pregnant again? I mean... It is just PMS right?

After my MC (Aprill 11th) I am now pregnant again so it can happen but I had unprotected sex the same week and a few time after that. But my GP is convince I lost a twin. But I dont think so. Anywayss.....
Like everyone else has said wait a week or two too see if you period does come, If not then take a test, If the HPT comes back NEG, go see your GP and asked for Blood test :)

Good Luck x

After having a miscarriage your period normally returns within 4-6 weeks. It is very common for your cycle to be altered once you become pregnant; whether or not it ends in a miscarriage or live birth. On the other hand, you can very well conceive again in between this period, as some women become even more fertile during this period. The symptoms that you are having are all common. After lsoing a baby, your body has to readjust to being not pregnant. The HCG hormone doesn't disappear over night. So at times you will feel as though half of you is still pregnant even though you've confirmed a miscarriage. I would suggest that if your cycle doesn't start in another 2 weeks, first take a pregnancy test. If it's negative, then follow up with your GYN. If you're not trying to conceive, then I would suggest using protection. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can further assist you.

After a miscarriage your cycle can take a while to get back on track so it isn't unusual that your period may be late. As for the pregnancy symptoms you're experiencing if the only time since your miscarriage that you've had sex was that time five days ago.. i wouldn't be too concerned because you wouldn't be displaying pregnancy symptoms this early. However if you have had sex other than that time I would test. Another culprit could be your hormones being all over the place.. from being pregnant to not being pregnant to getting ready for your period.. best of luck to you.

how do you know you had a miscarriage?  If AF was due it would be either today or tomorrow, if you can go another week and the tests are negative i would speak to your doctor.  If you do not want to get pregnant then please tell your partner to put something on his dipping stick and i think you should speak to a doctor about some sort of contraception.  I wish you the best in whatever happens with your situation
