PRENATAL VITAMINS

IMPORTANT!! How soon do I take the vitamins and where do I get them. Or should I start seeing a doctor to get the prescription?

I started taking them as soon as I found out I was pregnant. Went to walmart and got the Nature Made ones. Doc was glad to hear I was on prenatal vitamins already when I had my first appointment.

Technically you are encouraged to take them before you start trying to get pregnant.  You can buy them at any drug store or pharmacy.  Buy a small bottle first and bring them to your doctor at your first appointment.  My doctor wanted me to take more folic acid and iron so she prescribe me some.  It saved me money by just getting a small bottle at first.  congratulations by the way!

I got mine when I found out I was pregnant. And folic acid. You can get them at shoppers,Walmart. Plus see your doc also!

I'd start taking them right away to reduce the risks of birth defects. I get mine at the pharmacy at Wal-Mart. I'd advise you see a doc as soon as possible anyway to make sure everything goes smoothly.
