Pain in hips

Hey Ladies (: I'm about 16 weeks and a first time mom and I understand I can't lay on my stomach or back. Ive been trying to sleep on my side but I'll wake up in the middle of the night in horrible pain on my hip of the side I'm laying on. I tried a pillow between my legs and nothing working :(  any opinions or things I can do to sleep better?

I'm going through the same thing. I use a heating pad when I get those pains. And my doctor told me that I am aloud to lay on my stomach and back as long as I'm comfortable. It won't hurt the baby, that's just a myth.

You can lay on your stomach. They say by the time you would even do any harmful damage to the baby you would be way to uncomfortable and move.
