period like cramps

I'm 39 weeks and 4 days and I'm having period like cramps with no contractions. I haven't lost my mucus plug yet but can this be an early sign of labor ? Has anyone else had this experience ? Please help

I've had period like cramping since 30 weeks and pain that feels like it goes into my cervix since 33 weeks. I'm 35 weeks and 5 days now and I hope it doesn't stay like that all the way until 40 weeks.

ive been having period cramping also for about a wk, some back pain & sharp electric feeling like waves near my cervix & no sign of mucus plug.
Im 38 wks & 5 days.
I hope im close.

I'm due tomorrow and have had period like cramps off and on for weeks now...everyone's different though, could be labor about to start or could just be cramping which is normal unfortunately

I've been having the same problem but I'm also having extreme back pains as well. I'm going to be going to the hospital with my fiance gets home.
