Pain when going to the bathroom... leaking fluid?

The odd time when I go to the bathroom, I'll go to pee and all of a sudden get a pain in my side.  It hurts to finish peeing, but after I feel like I have finished, something is still trickling out.  Is it still urine or could I be leaking some fluid?

Well, I went to the doctor and I have no infections at all.  They figure it is just round ligament pain and when you bear down a bit to pee, it is just triggering a ligament.  I have a bit of a urine leak, but nothing major.

That sounds like a bladder infection or your gallbladder.  Call you dr asap or go to the er.  Better safe than sorry.  Keep us posted.  Anita

I have an infection (BV) and this same thing happened to me! So definitely get it checked out, it's like nothing, it's treatable - but if left it can cause preterm labor! GL :]

Roke- Call your doctor, that doesn't sound right and you should get that checked out.  It sounds like an UTI or maybe you've just been holding it too long, but Definitely get it check out.
