i actually didn't get labor pains until 45 minutes after my water broke. then it was this horrendous pressure in my back that radiated around to my tummy and made me feel like i just had to PUSH. i had all my labor pains in my back (thank god for epidurals).

Crossing my fingers for you that this is it! I had something similar last night for about an hour and a half then i went to sleep (thinkin it wasprobably labour and i should get rest) and i woke up and it was gone. Try walking around your house! Goodluck!

ok, TMK, if they get to 5 minutes apart, last 20-30+ seconds, and are consecutive for over an hour and a half to 2 hours, then you're in labor....you've been having them about 5 hours, but 10 minutes apart....has your water broke by chance?
