I found out I had hpv as well 2 weeks ago but my doc said on a scale of 1-10 it's a 2 and going through birth will take care of it and they'll check a few weeks after and if it's still there then he'll freeze the cells, bit he also mentioned that since I got my gardisil shots I have a higher chance of recovery and less likely to lead to cervical cancer.
My pap came back abnormal and when I asked about it they just said that they'll retest me after birth. They never told me why it was abnormal, but now I'm having symptoms of hpv.
I came back hpv positive but my dr said it's not the bad kind and it will go away after I have my baby
Yes my did last year. It's very common but most people's bodies fight it and they never know they had it. Mine started to look like cancer so they fRoze some of the cells off. This year I had abnormal pap they did a colposcopy (they just take a sample of the cervix and look at everything to make sure it's not cancer) it didn't look like it so after I have my baby they will do another pap to see if it's resolved it's self or not. It's not a danger to the baby and if it is cancer it's considered a slow growing one.
2 out of 3 sexually active women get it in there life. Most never know since it clears up. Dont worry if u do have it
I did last pregnancy. They even ended up taking a biopsy of my cervix. This pregnancy (less than a year later) it os totally cleared up and no sign of it. It usually goes away after a couple years its just important to keep an eye on it.
