Part of stretch marks???

So the day before yesterday I leaned against my kitchen counter to get something off the top shelf of my cabinet, and a spot on my right side about four inches above my c-section scar started to hurt. I put my hand on my stomach to see if I could feel what it was, and felt this little hard spot. I thought it may have been a bug bite, here in Korea there's so many mosquitos they bite everywhere even if you have on clothes, but I couldn't see anything. So I felt again and there's this slightly bigger than a pea sized ball feeling thing...I felt all over my belly cause I thought it may have been just how my skin/tissue ended up after so many stretch marks from DS (they're all over my belly up past my belly button) but I don't feel anything else like it...so what do you ladies think? Should I visit the doc?

Hmm, I would get it checked out since it could just as easily be a hernia. If it is, you want to avoid heavy lifting and probably have it removed.

I hd my last csection 4 weeks ago, not 3 weeks! Can anyone say 'sleep deprived'?  lol! Anyway, whether it is part of ur stretchmark, i highly doubt it.. But again, im no expert as i dont hv any stretchmark myself.. The lump you are feeling probably just an accumulation of fat tisdue underneath the skin, where the cellulite is.. But ur doc should be able to tell for sure.

Very true...I didn't think about the shrinking part. It's just weird cause there's only one. I never noticed it until I felt it the other day.

just a guess- but maybe scar tissue from c-sec? remember that they cut through 3 layers- skin, muscle, and uterus. when your stomach shrinks back after having baby, the internal scars move up. i remember distinctly being able to tell how far up it moved because i felt my internal incisions pains in a different place than the external.

its probably scar tissue from your c-section i had a big stomach surgery when i was younger and i have quite a few little scars from it and they burn sometimes and i have a few little tiny bumps i can notice here and there.

The internet is a scarey place, lol. Hopefully you will get some more feedback from someone that has had a c-section. Hopefully thats all it is:-)

Maybe you're right...I've been doing the stupid thing and googling what it could be, and freaking myself out reading all these different things. But it makes me feel better that you have too.

Hmm.............I had surgery to repair a hernia last October and if I feel about 2 maybe 3 inches above my scar I can feel little round bumps too. I think it might be from your surgery?? I have never had a c-sectiion so im not sure if its normal or not but I have it from my surgery. Oh BTW my hernia was umbilical so my scar is around my belly button.
