Real Mommies

What kind of diet do you eat? I'm not talking about you fitness thirsty mommas, you guys are show offs (lol)... I'm talking, real mommies who are going through pregnancy... Getting the cravings in the middle of the night... Getting mad at your partner for not getting them food.. Real pregnant mommies... What "diet" do you eat?

I'm trying to eat healthy, because I'm 25weeks.. And I weigh a ton. But, I wonder if this is normal... I'm also, really small. A short, petite girl... But anyways, what foods are you eating?!

Awhhh mommies! You all just made me feel better. Lol I am tiny... So, gaining 15-16pounds is like huge to me. I was 125lbs before pregnancy,.. Now I weigh 140. But, there's nothing wrong with my baby... Nutritionist said that its average to gain 20-30pounds during pregnancy... But I'm like, eating everything insight...

Low low low iron, so I have to eat lots of peanut butter...

I eat whatever I want that is around lol. Just because I could care less about the weight, I know I'll lose it fairly quickly after birth due to fast metabolism that runs through my family.

Oh and I started overweight, I was 203 lbs pre pregnancy and I'm currently 28 weeks and weigh 194 lbs and kept that very consistent for the past 14 weeks.

I eat what I want and try to be healthy. Lol ... since I've been pregnant I've had bad morning sickness and in the beginning I lived off of Japanese onion soup because it was the only thing I could stomach. Then I'd get cravings for cucumbers or carrots and ranch dressing, but honestly if I'm at work and in the mood for arbys that's what I get. My appetite has decreased so I can only eat like half a meal before I'm super full but if I'm not "in the mood" for something I find it very hard to eat.

i keep the same diet i had before, except that with this baby i am taking prenatals (i got pregnant 2 months after delivering so my body is soo depleted). i feel that if you obsess over the weight thing you ruin the joy of pregnancy. I was harped on "don't gain more than 25lbs, you're a big girl already" (i was 160 when i got pregnant). with my daughter i gained 40lbs. I lost every single pound (and one or two more) by nine days postpartum. i did that by jumping back into my routine the day i got home. birth isnt something you relax from. otherwise you will maintain that weight. i usually have a small portion for breakfast, a sandwich and chips for lunch plus a treat (packet of cookies or a yogurt or pudding), then another snack before i cook a balanced dinner (i always make sure theres the main entree and at least one side, usually we have a slice of bread and butter or biscuits with it). This pregnancy i havent gained any weight so far.
